Ugly Love

Ugly Love

Rating- ★★★★

Genre- Contemporary Romance

This happened to be my first foray into the world of Colleen Hoover, and I must admit, “Ugly Love” exceeded all my expectations. I initially anticipated a steamy, mafia romance, but boy, was I in for a surprise! This book left me utterly speechless, and I devoured its pages in record time. It was an emotional rollercoaster, tearing at my heartstrings like never before. The writing style was captivating, keeping me hooked from start to finish.

The attraction and chemistry between Tate and Miles were simply electrifying. Throughout the book, their emotions battled within, creating a whirlwind of conflicting feelings. But oh, the ending! It was absolutely worth every heartache and tear shed along the way. I found myself experiencing a myriad of emotions—I cried, laughed, smiled, and genuinely savored every moment. Hats off to Colleen Hoover for crafting such an enthralling tale.

“Ugly Love” took me on an unforgettable journey, redefining my expectations of contemporary romance. It proved that love can be messy, complicated, and, yes, even ugly at times. Yet, within that complexity, lies the true beauty of human connection. Colleen Hoover, you have truly outdone yourself!

My favorite characters- 1. Miles – Don’t know what to say about Miles. He is someone whom you’ll hate and also love. I loved every version of Miles.

Corbin- OMG Corbin. I want a brother like Corbin. I loved every single thing about him. I really adore the brother-sister relationship, the way he is protective toward his sister was too cute. I loved Corbine’s three rules- “What rules?” “Well, for one, I’m not allowed to break your heart,”he says. “Second, I’m also not allowed to break your damn heart. And last, I’m not allowed to fucking break your damn heart.”

Cap- Special shout out to Cap. He was always there for Tate when she needed someone to talk to.
