Transitions…

Transitions…

It’s hard to believe that I’ve turned 22 already. Do I like it? I’m not completely sure. What I do enjoy about getting older is the independence. It feels great to stand on my own two feet.

Being older means trying new things, facing different situations, and meeting new people. I get to travel and see new places. But this age also comes with a lot of responsibility. I need to be more accountable for my actions, my decisions, and my future. It’s not like when I was younger, and I had others to lean on. Now, it’s up to me.

Yet, in the midst of all this, there’s a peculiar sensation. It’s as if I’ve stepped onto a stage where everyone expects a performance. As I grow older, it seems people anticipate a transformation, an ‘adult’ version of me. But do I need to don a new mask, adapt a new personality, or simply continue being my authentic self? It’s a puzzle I’m still trying to solve, a question I need to answer.

I can’t help but notice that time seems to be moving faster now. There’s so much to explore and experience, and it feels like there’s not enough time to do it all. It’s like I’m trying to keep up with time as it races ahead.

But, for now, I’m happy to say I have no regrets. I’ve made the most of every moment of my life so far. I’ve enjoyed each little detail. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing what the next chapter of my life will bring.
